Records that reconcile. Controls that hold.

Every payment arrives on its own address, matched to its invoice, till, link or checkout. Every product settles where you route it. Treasury withdrawals wait for a colleague, and switching a control off takes a colleague too.

From payment to statement

Reconciled before it reaches you.

Matching usually happens at month-end, by hand. On ChainPal it happens when the money lands, because every payment arrives on an address that belongs to one record.

  1. 1

    Matched on arrival

Each checkout, invoice and payment link payment gets an address of its own, and every till has its own. A payment is matched to its record the moment it lands.

  2. 2

    Settled by its route

Each product settles to the destination you chose for it, and only to destinations ChainPal has reviewed. Change one route without touching the rest.

  3. 3

    Reported for the close

Download a statement by month or tax year, as PDF or Excel, and export every payment as a CSV with its reference and transaction hash.

Approvals and controls

Nobody moves money alone.

Controls are set by your team, not by ChainPal. They are easy to switch on and deliberately hard to switch off, because a control the person it constrains can lift alone is not a control.

Roles and powers

Give each person exactly the access their job needs.

Six roles cover most teams: Owner, Admin, Treasurer, Operator, Analyst and Auditor. When a role gives someone more than you want, withhold a single power from that one member without changing anyone else.

  • Withhold any single power from a member
  • Auditor access ends on the date you set
  • Two-factor sign-in with an authenticator app

Approval policies

Decide which decisions need a second person.

Require a colleague for treasuries, withdrawals and team changes. Turning a requirement on takes effect at once. Turning one off needs somebody else to agree, so no one can quietly lift a control on themselves.

  • The requester can never approve their own withdrawal
  • A single controller gets a 24-hour cooldown on new destinations

Customer credit

Overpayments are tracked, not lost.

Invoices track part payments as they arrive. When a customer pays more than they owe, the difference becomes customer credit and comes off their next invoice, with the full history on their customer record.

Routing, withdrawals, exports and answers, each designed so that the record and the money always agree.

Routing per product

Checkout and API, links, invoices, terminals, OTC and payroll can each settle to a different destination you own.

Withdrawals a colleague approves

A treasury withdrawal is requested, approved by someone else, then signed with a passkey. ChainPal’s relayer submits it and pays the gas.

Every payment, exported

A transactions CSV with the date, reference, product, amount, coin, network and transaction hash. Real records, not a summary.

Want to walk through your controls with us? Write to help@chainpal.org.

Can someone approve their own withdrawal?

No. A treasury withdrawal is requested by one person and approved by a colleague, and the requester can never be that colleague. Only then is it signed with a passkey and submitted.

What if only one person runs our account?

A business with a single controller has no colleague to approve, so it gets a 24-hour cooldown on new payout destinations instead. Add a teammate and approvals work as they do for any team.

Can approvals be switched off?

Yes, but not by one person. Turning an approval requirement on takes effect at once. Turning it off needs somebody else on the team to agree.

What is in a statement?

What was collected in the period, what has been paid out to you and what is still on its way, the number of payments, a breakdown by channel and your leading customers. Payroll is shown apart, because it is spend, not revenue. Statements cover a month or a tax year and download as PDF or Excel.

Does ChainPal connect to our accounting software?

Not directly. Statements download as Excel and every payment exports as a CSV, so your team can bring them into the tools you already use.

Does ChainPal ever hold our money?

No. Each payment lands on an address created for it and moves straight on to the destination you set for that product. There is no ChainPal balance in between, so there is nothing to reconcile against.
