Invoices billed and paid in one place

Invoices with the payment built in.

Bill with line items, tax and discounts, and send it by email. Your customer opens the invoice and pays it in stablecoins on the same page. Part payments are tracked, and anything paid over becomes credit on their next invoice.

How it works

From bill to paid in three steps.

Build it, send it, get paid on it. The invoice and the way to pay it are the same page, so nothing has to be matched by hand.

  1. 1

    Build the invoice

Add line items, a tax rate and a discount, as a percentage or an amount, and choose when it is due. Save it as a draft until it is ready.

  2. 2

    Send it by email

Your customer gets the invoice in their inbox, with a button that opens it on its own page. No login, and nothing to download.

  3. 3

    Get paid on the invoice

They pay what they can, when they can. Each payment is recorded against the invoice, and its page always shows what is still to pay.

Features

Billing that keeps its own books.

Every figure on an invoice is worked out on our server and every payment lands against the invoice it was for, so your receivables add up without a spreadsheet.

Line items, tax and discounts

Quantity and unit price on every line, a tax rate, and a discount as a percentage or a fixed amount. Totals are worked out for you.

Due dates and terms

Due on receipt, in 7, 14 or 30 days, or on a date you choose. Once the date passes, the invoice shows as overdue.

Sent by email

Send it straight to your customer, with a button that opens the invoice and its way to pay.

A pay page for every invoice

Each invoice has its own public page. Your customer reads it and pays it there, with no account.

Part payments tracked

Each payment is recorded against the invoice, and the page always shows what has been paid and what is still to pay.

Overpayments become credit

Anything paid over is kept as the customer’s credit and comes off their next invoice.

Customer records, made for you

Bill someone new and their record is created, with every invoice, payment and credit from then on.

Paid another way, or cancelled

Mark an invoice paid when the money came outside ChainPal, or cancel it. Either way its pay page stops taking payment.

In the dashboard

Know where every invoice stands.

Billed, paid, still to pay and credit, read the way your finance team reads them. Move the day to watch an invoice go overdue, then get paid in full.

Works with

Part of one platform.

Invoice payments follow the same settlement rules and feed the same customer records and intelligence as everything else you run on ChainPal.

Aria

Ask what is outstanding, who your top customers are and how much credit you hold, with the records behind each answer.

Payouts

Give Invoices its own route: your bank in local currency, your treasury or a wallet you hold.

Payment links

For anything you sell to many customers at one price, share a link instead of an invoice.

Finance teams

Approvals, statements and exports for the people who close the books.

Questions

Invoices, answered.

Moving your billing over? Write to help@chainpal.org and we will help you plan it.

Does our customer need an account to pay?

No. The email opens the invoice on its own page, where they read it and pay it with any wallet or exchange app, by QR or address, or with a browser wallet.

What if a customer pays only part of it?

The payment is recorded against the invoice, which then reads as part paid. Its page shows what has been paid and what is still to pay, and your customer can pay the rest from the same page.

And if they pay too much?

The invoice is paid in full and the extra is kept as that customer’s credit. It comes off their next invoice, which shows it as a line of its own, so nobody has to remember it.

When does an invoice become overdue?

As soon as its due date passes with money still owed. Nobody has to mark it: overdue is worked out from the due date. Otherwise an invoice is a draft, awaiting payment, paid, cancelled or expired.

Can we record a payment that came another way?

Yes. Mark the invoice as paid and it is recorded as settled outside ChainPal, or cancel it if it was raised in error. Either way, its pay page stops taking payment.

Where does the money go?

To the destination you set for Invoices: your bank account in local currency, your treasury, or a wallet you hold. Each payment arrives on its own address and moves straight on. ChainPal never holds it.
